ABOUT THE OWNER OF HWPCS
Did you know there is a healthcare disparity gap among minorities? Since 2000, as a Registered Nurse (RN), Shakana Hall,MSN,ARNP,AGNP-C has been advocating for her patients so they can receive the best optimal care. As a Graduate of Florida A&M University (1999) she has worked in various nursing roles, include caring for medical-surgical patients on ventilators, diabetics, orthopedics, stroke and heart patients. She also work with pregnant families as they welcome their newborns into the world. Shakana has worked with a local healthcare organization for 24 years. She has completed her HIPAA Awareness for Healthcare Providers Training, has her Crib Safe Sleep Certification and her AANP Certification.
As a Trained Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, who can care for patients from puberty to end of life, Shakana's personal goal is for everyone, no matter the race or creed, to have access to healthcare.
